About Miwa-Nouen KOSHIHIKARI Farmer


We are chef and farmer.
So we grow rice and vegetables and serve them at our restaurant or deliver them to local events.

Miwa-Noen started growing rice and vegetables since 2005 then cooking and delivering them at our own restaurant Matsu-en-don since 2013 in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata, Japan.


We grow Minamiuonuma Koshihikari rice, using rice vinegar instead of pesticides. No chemical condiments are used in our dishes.


We are a member of local farmers market organized by young farmers and food coordinators in Uonuma. We deliver our food to events and markets, sometimes beyond the borders.


We enjoy growing, cooking and eating food.
We love and respect our community.
What can we do for the community? Our goal is to be loved by them.
